NeoCon 2019 in Chicago was a pivotal gathering. It’s the only opportunity to meet in person with most of our sponsors, visit with friends & colleagues, and meet new kindred spirits. A highlight this year was Women in Design Dialogues at the new Knoll headquarters in Fulton Market. Celebrating the tenth anniversary of the Knoll/ANEW Full Circle program, ANEW founder/president Rose Tourje was joined by Rumi Walsh, facilities manager Mazda North America and Colleen James of Knoll. The dialogue centered around the positive community & environmental impacts of Full Circle on Mazda’s major relocation project.
Other highlights include creative meetings with sponsor partners AIS, Humanscale, National Office Furniture and Teknion. Discussions were focused on utilizing our Surplus Stewardship™ program to help our sponsors achieve their community engagement and sustainability goals.
