ANEW has a wonderful relationship with Chrysalis (www.changelives.org), a non-profit organization providing employment opportunities to disadvantaged and formerly homeless individuals.
The relationship began years ago by teaming with Chrysalis ‘clients’ to assist with the dismantling staging, removal and recycling of surplus furniture. Overseen by ANEW, Chrysalis employees assist with the dismantling, staging, removal and recycling of surplus furniture. This partnership has grown over the years and serves to help and lower homelessness by supporting the Chrysalis transitional job program. Through ANEW and others who partner with Chrysalis, clients can build their way into finding fulltime jobs, supporting our community and the local economy.
