As a veteran audio mixer/producer my input usually occurs toward the end of a project. For our short film “ANEW doing what’s right with what’s left®” I’ve been involved from the beginning, offering an extra set of hands on location shoots, lending the occasional observations regarding dialog etc.
Working with the talented crew at Change For Balance Productions has been a great experience. During the next 24 hours the final picture edits will be made, and the music composition will be completed. The editor, Adam Steel, and composer Ben Messelbeck will send their files to the recording studio, where I’ll work with friend and colleague Robert Feist on audio production and mix. The finished film will be up on the site and our facebook page within two weeks; it premieres at events in Los Angeles March 15 and Orange County March 20. Stay tuned!
