Jewish World Watch, a local nonprofit anti-genocide organization, recently received a complement of furniture and carpeting for its new offices via ANEW. JWW had negotiated a desirable lease with one sticky stipulation: it was responsible for upgrading the interior, which was in poor condition.
ANEW donated furniture and filing cabinets, and along with their corporate sponsor Bentley Prince Street worked to provide as a donation, new commercial grade carpeting, saving JWW several thousand dollars. Perhaps more important, the new environment has improved efficiency and lifted morale at the headquarters, where JWW leads the fight against genocide in Darfur, the Congo, and other hot spots worldwide.
