Since 2005, ANEW has revolutionized traditional liquidation practices with Surplus Stewardship, a certified practice that extends the life cycle of office surplus through reuse, repurposing, resale and recycling; recording and reporting the outcomes.
WE ARE SOCIALLY RESPONSIBILE
ANEW inspires companies to become their own stewards of surplus furniture and other items to benefit their communities. Through more than 435 projects, we have partnered with companies like Toyota and Kaiser and organizations like Habitat for Humanity and Goodwill, helping them achieve 5their social and environmental sustainability goals.
WE EDUCATE THROUGH ACTION
ANEW raises awareness of the economic, social, and environmental benefits of Surplus Stewardship® through free workshops, presentations and case studies. In 2024, ANEW launched the first of two accredited CEU courses (approved by 55 licensing boards!) to help architecture and design professionals learn how to apply circularity to strengthen local economies, manage resources, and reduce waste. ANEW is the trusted industry resource with 20 years of applied knowledge and experience.
WE STRENGTHEN COMMUNITIES
ANEW matches surplus items with charities, non-profits, public agencies, and underserved communities. We have enabled over 600 recipient organizations to allocate their financial resources toward sustaining and expanding their essential services, ultimately benefiting thousands of people in local communities!
WE RESPECT THE ENVIRONMENT
Since 2015, our project outcomes and data have been independently audited which points to measurable results on the positive environmental impact of Surplus Stewardship®. From 2015 to 2024, we stopped 8,049 tons of waste from entering U.S. landfill and prevented 6,207 tons of greenhouse gas (GHG) from harming the atmosphere. ANEW is making a lasting impact with proven and verifiable results for every project.
